ScreenShow

Advanced application facilitating the use of LED video screens.

ScreenShow application was developed and is being developed by -Revolution-Tech Technology Department . Many years of experience has enabled the IT department to create another tool from the Revolution-Tech brand with high utility and functional values and  equipped with a number of original solutions. The application allows for easy and intuitive management of multiple screens from anywhere in the world and allows for combining them into groups.

Basic functions of the application:

• Defining the performance of the screen, i.e. the moment of switching on and off, and the brightness of day and night mode.

• Defining daytime playlists.

• Full synchronization of data between the screen and managing computers.

• Ability to manage multiple screens and combining them into groups with the same content of communication.

• Extensive information system about the work status of the screen.

 The system consists of two modules:

• ScreenShow Maganger
  Program running under Windows is installed on the user side, on any number of workstations and used to develop playlists and define the operating parameters of the screens.
• ScreenShow Player
  Program installed on a computer that manages the screen and responsible for the operating parameters of the screen and display content.

 Application and Technology Features :

• Defining playlists and the time and operating parameters of the screen.

• GeoBright - module to ensure the optimum screen brightness parameters. Based on the geographical location he system defines the time of sunrise and sunset ona certain day and begins brightening/dimming of the screen to a defined value one hour before sunrise/sunset until one hour after its completion (2-hour cycle). Thanks to this process dimming and brightening is fully automated and the process is smooth and unnoticed.

• EcoSync - advanced synchronization system, minimize data transmision, allowing the screen to be managed on-line even at very low transfer parameters.

• EcoView - video processing module, which in the case of video files that significantly exceed the screen resolution, proposes the automatic scaling and compression, minimizes the amount of data while maintaining video quality.

• CloneSync - two-way synchronization allows to operate the screens from any computer, providing a perfectly valid data at each of those positions.

• ActiveWatch - monitoring system to ensure the highest degree of screen and application stability, and complete information about the state of its work (developed system logs).

• Squad - managing multiple screens - a coherent system allows you to easily manage multiple screens and combining them into groups with the same content of communication.

• Off-line mode - allows loading of developed playlists (using ScreenShow Manager)directly to your computer which supports the screen when the screen is not connected to the Internet or when a connection failure occurred.

• Accessories - Modular system allows for the development of additives to enhance application functionality e.g.  weather forecasts display, date/time, name, displaying messages or text information.

• Supported video formats: AVI, WMV, SWF (Adobe Flash), MPG.

 The study:

• SMSWatch - optional TXTmessage module that sends information about relevant critical moments such as lack of communication, data error, applications errors, etc. Additionally, the system can tell the operational status of the screen (power on, off, crossing to day and night mode, start a new playlist, downloading the new files).

• Extensive off-line mode - loading data into the computer that servs the display takes place after the portable memory is placed in the USB port or card reader, without requiring the user's intervention in the program. The key compliance test protects the data to be recorded by unauthorized persons. Sucessful process completion is signaled by a sound.

• SafeUpdate - module of automatic software update which is carried out during a break in the screen's operation or at a predetermined time. Every step of the process is monitored and logged in order to avoid mistakes and failures.

Ons and wizards:

• Component of a multimedia presentation of the current weather situation and the forecast for the screen's location.
• Graphic information on current date and time.
• Text information bar with auto-sync of text content from identified RSS sources and from an additional WEB panel.
